Everywhere is overcrowded, staff are disillusioned and the care suffers. I fear it’s going to get worse. I would be concerned if I had a loved one in hospital at the moment.

I’m an NHS patient, readmitted for potentially life-changing complications. I’m also an NHS worker of 17yrs, 9 of that as a Dr. During these admissions I’m actually sad, scared & gobsmacked at where standards of care & basics have fallen. @CareQualityComm @DrPhilBanfield

Binged @ITV #maternal this week, seems a pretty accurate portrayal of NHS life and how it impacts/consumes personal lives. Although the hospital seemed a lot quieter than in my experience.

@mancunianmedic I’m not familiar with NZ politics and I’m sure they have plenty of problems. But, from here she appears to be an inspirational leader. Even more so in comparison with the current UK shituation.
