Right in the middle of it at 2:45 AM, the police and ambulance called. They said they would call back in 10 minutes (probably to let me finish being sick!) but never did. On top of that, getting any updates from the Countess of Chester Hospital was impossible.

Last night in Chester, my partner crashed his HGV into an embankment after suddenly being overcome by a sickness bug behind the wheel. I just want to say a massive thank you to the other lorry drivers who stopped and dragged him out of the cab while the fuel tank was pouring out.
