Look this is cheesy but the NASA livestream comments are overflowing with "Godspeed from ______" comments and it warms the heart. We do nationalize space travel a lot, soft power etc., but on the long horizon this is a human adventure and that's what will be remembered.

The film Peleliu: Guernica of Paradise will be released on Friday at movie theaters across Japan. It is an adaptation of a historical fiction manga told from the perspective of a Japanese soldier experiencing of one World War 2's most gruesome battles.

@low_dosage Oh I absolutely agree. It's most certainly a generalization, but in certain situations (deer overpopulation) they can be generally helpful. They also do their best to keep the deer overpopupated for sport reasons, and unacceptably target predators. It's a bad situation altogether

@TheHidn "hunters" are a big spectrum of people and I wouldn't paint them all with the same brush, there are definitely some conservationists. but there are hunters, as described in the article, whose relationship with nature can only be described as bloodthirsty and damaging

The trap was registered to Matt Lumley, who was at the time president of the Montana Trappers Association and vice president of the National Trappers Association, yet he failed to check his trap many days beyond the law of Montana.
