Its that time of year to work crop claims. Lets talk about "Revenue To Count" for just a second. Using a 200aph, 80% coverage and 4.66 spring and 4.16 fall discoveries on YC on a good old 160a quarter of dirt. Your gntys: 160 bu $745.60/a revenue $119,296 total revenue Lets say you raise 165bpa, aka total production of 26,400 bu. There is no bushel loss, but we need to determine if there is a revenue loss. Adjusters use a term "Revenue to Count." This term is simply your production times the fall price. This is your revenue to count against your guarantee. 26400 x $4.16 = $109,824 Your revenue guarantee is $119,296, your REVENUE TO COUNT is $109,824, leaving you with a $9,472 revenue loss. Please keep in mind, revenue losses require the same documention on produciton as production losses, whether that be settlement sheets, harvest logs, cart scale logs, precision data, etc.
