We had a strategic planning meeting today were we took time to closely look at how our previous activities went, what worked, and what we can do better. We shared ideas, learned from each other, and started planning the next set of activities together. #strategicplanning

How you see yourself influences more than you realize. It shapes your confidence, your decisions, and how you respond to opportunities and life in general. Sometimes, most times, the limitation is not your ability, it’s the belief you’ve quietly accepted about yourself.

There is a voice in your head that is always speaking, in how you see yourself and life. Over time, that voice begins to shape the direction of your life but not every one of it is true. And not every voice deserves to be believed. This week, Be intentional about your thoughts.

We had a strategic meeting which was a moment of reflection and realignment. We took time to review our performance so far, celebrating progress made, identifying gaps, and learning from our experiences.

And with every step, we were reminded that inclusion is not an act of charity, it is a responsibility we all share. No one should ever feel left out, unseen, or forgotten. Today, we walked so that tomorrow can be kinder, more inclusive, and more human.

On Saturday, 11th April, what we had was more than just a walk, it was a moment of connection, seeing, feeling, and of standing in solidarity with persons living with disabilities. We walked for the voices that are often unheard. We walked for the strength that is often unseen.

We walked to remind ourselves that disability is not inability—and that every life deserves dignity, love, and equal opportunity. There were smiles, there were stories, there were moments that touched the heart deeply.

We are delighted to be part of the Women-Led Rights Organizations (WRO) ASPIRE planning meeting organized by Plan International Nigeria in Bauchi from 8th to 10th April 2026.

It was a productive and insightful engagement focused on collaboration, advocacy, safeguarding, and strengthening efforts to promote the rights, health, and well-being of girls and women in our communities.

At the center of it all is one question: Who are you, really? Quite a number of people are living without self-awareness and when you don’t define who you are, life begins to define you. This is going to be an eye-opening, self revealing series, so anticipate and come along.

Identity is the foundation of mindset, your thoughts shape your reality. Over the next few weeks, we will be doing a series on MINDSET. Because the way you think shapes how you live. It influences your decisions and the direction of your life.
