The @WashMystics injury report has gotten shorter for Friday's game at Indiana. Cotie McMahon (elbow) and Alicia Flórez (personal reasons) are both off the list. Michaela Onyenwere (left knee) remains out. @TheIXSports #WNBA

Nate Tibbetts postgame on Natasha Mack’s impact tonight and for the future: “She's ready for this, and our players are ready for her to make a step, and she made a step here tonight.” @TheIXSports
Dylan Kane@DylanKaneSports

Natasha Mack is up to 10 points and 15 rebounds. She averaged 10.8 pts and 12.7 reb in 12 games in Athletes Unlimited over the offseason. The opportunity is there for her to double her previous career-high WNBA averages this season.

And on the other end of the spectrum, Cass Prosper became the second-youngest Mystic ever to make her #WNBA debut, behind only Emma Meesseman. The fourth-youngest is Sonia Citron last year, again per @WBBTimeline. @TheIXSports

(1/2) When @allyywilsonn made her #WNBA regular-season debut last night, she became the second-oldest player in @WashMystics history to do so, behind Valerie Still in 1999. She's only the fourth Mystic ever to debut at age 30 or older, per @WBBTimeline. @TheIXSports

Hailey Van Lith on how important consistency is on a young team: “I think we had flashes where you could see a change in our mindset, and we became the aggressor a little bit, and we started to dictate. We had stretches where we stringed together a few possessions where you could see our perspective and our mindset changed. But you know, with youth, a lot of times consistency is the issue, so with this squad, we just have to work on putting those flashes together more often, and it's going to take commitment and work and focus on it in practice. I think we'll have a great day of practice tomorrow, and hopefully come with a better energy and mindset against the Storm.” @TheIXSports

I asked Rachid Meziane what adjustments the Sun need to make offensively ahead of Sunday. Here’s what he said: 1. Transition opportunities: “We need to create more transition opportunity. Giving up 36 points in the first quarter, it means that we didn't create those situations. So we need to start by being more aggressive and dictate more defensively and from that just creating more, playing more flow. 2. Post touches to open up looks: “Anytime we find BG inside on our post touches, we scored and, or at least we found good looks. So that's something we need to do reiterate, if we want to be an effective team.” 3. What will allow the Sun to take that next step: “We cannot be this team if we want to score more points. So this aspect - sharing the ball more, more transition points from our defense will be a good first step for us for Sunday.” @TheIXSports
