@BoshNRoll I am inclined to Cancel here. This Duress represents two resources which are being threatened. Cards in hand and information about cards in hand. The duress resolving compromises both of those resources. If I Cancel the Duress, it only compromises one of those resources .

Mind control in D&D is a bummer: it removes player agency 👎 Instead I ask the player “you feel the urge to do XYZ: what are you experiencing to make you feel that way?” — the character loses agency but not the player 💕 and now it’s a character development prompt!
