🧵 on this packed piece #BillsMafia 1.most interesting thing about Beane’s draft comments is how much they revolve around temperament. Parker, Igbinosun, Bell, Chubb, Alford, CJGJ. He clearly thinks this roster needed more competitive violence, not just more athleticism

Tiger Woods is facing an addiction monster that devours millions of people in this country, and yet everything and everyone around him seems to just want to keep the whole charade going. Without a true reckoning, this is headed for a dark outcome. @CzabeCast @andypollin1

@AaronQuinn716 100% agree. There is a such thing as over-saturation. Adding more games AND international travel also runs the risk of harming the product quality due to challenging travel schedules and injuries

There is an unfair layer of data in this stuff where the NFL thinks they can just expand and grow and add more, and it will work because we are addicted to this thing and consume all of it as much as we can. But I don't think MOST fans want more of it. And we don't want it all over the world. And we don't want it on Thursday nights. My 2 cents.
Chad Graff@ChadGraff

Robert Kraft mentioned the possibility of the NFL going to an 18-game schedule with every team playing internationally and two byes per team. “I think it would be a lot more exciting for the fans,” Kraft said.

Based on what the Bills have done this off-season, how many positions on this roster could the Bills realistically spend their top draft pick on?

@SalSports @zvaughn2712 I love Tylan Grable’s game, but in each season he’s missed significant time with injuries. If he turns out to be injury prone—and so far he has been—he can’t be the answer at swing tackle

The Bills have until Monday to make a decision on whether or not to match Ryan Van Demark's offer sheet from Vikings. I think it's close and can go either way. My thoughts on each side here: MATCH - it's only about $700K more than they are already committed to paying him. He's a primary swing tackle/can play both LT and RT, knows the system, and is loved by his teammates. It's also not as easy as just finding another reliable OT to plug in when needed. They have Tylan Grable - had beaten RVDM out for the spot two years ago, but missed pretty much all of last year and has played 5 NFL games. And RVDM never gave the job back last season even after Grable was ready. Have Chase Lundt - may project more to guard and has never played an NFL snap. Have Travis Clayton - has also never played a down in NFL. That's 5 total games (146 snaps) combined for the other 3 backup OTs on the roster. Also, no compensation received from Minnesota or any comp pick if they don't match. DON'T MATCH - Can a cap-tight team afford to pay $4.2+M on their cap for a backup tackle? Can that money be spent better elsewhere if freed up? Is Van Demark worth what would amount to roughly the 53rd overall AAV for an OT in the NFL? Are Grable and/or Lundt better options at over $3M less on the cap?

I like the Bradley Chubb signing. Good against the run, can set the edge and I think there's still plenty of gas left in the tank. FUN FACT: Chubb sacked Josh Allen TWICE last season. #BillsMafia @BuffaloPlus

I’ve checked. Been told teams can only have a second interview with a candidate this week if they had a first interview initially. The Bills did not with Kubiak, so they have to wait until after SB. Don’t get mad at the messenger. But that’s the message.

@4JoshReed My concern is that in the Chargers games I watched while he was HC he seemed to have zero ability to manage the game

This should be given strong consideration. He is very respected around the league and with the right staff(OC and DC)it could work.

The #Bills plan to spend Saturday in Los Angeles doing an in-person interview with Anthony Lynn, their interim coach in 2016. The former #Chargers head coach is currently the #Commanders run game coordinator.

Read the quotes in this article from Pegula. He keeps blaming McDermott over and over. It’s seems petty and small. That’s not how you talk about your former employees.
John Wawrow 🤷‍♂️@john_wawrow

One thing from today's press conference, and will be included in this story below (with an update filed for editing): When Terry Pegula referred to "the coaching staff" pushing for Keon, he was not referring to Sean McDermott. apnews.com/article/bills-…
