KU coach Dan Fitzgerald said today that Brady Ballinger injured his hamate bone at the end of the BYU series and is expected back for NCAA regionals, but not the Big 12 tournament. Options to replace him in left include Savion Flowers, Max Soliz Jr. and maybe Dariel Osoria.

Kansas LF Brady Ballinger is expected to miss the entire Big 12 tournament due to injury, @CollegeBaseCNT has learned. Ballinger suffered a hamate injury mid-AB against BYU on Saturday. He is expected to return for the NCAA Tournament.
