Apple is closing down the first of its US stores to unionize.
Apple says that because of the collective bargaining agreement with these workers, they "couldn’t offer to transfer them to nearby locations.”
The union is outraged, and exploring options to hold Apple accountable.

@RoHutson @MorePerfectUS Well, you cant think it wouldnt, insurance would not want to cover an incident like this again. The payout would be too much. If it gets bad, they might cancel the coverage. It is the leverage the employee has. If money is all that matters, targeting the money makes sense here

@RoHutson @MorePerfectUS well, insurance isn't a "fix everything" sort of thing. and payout of lost product cant create profit, which you'll still need. but i dont think this is something you'll wanna finger wag at, this is indicative of a much larger problem (for them).
