6842 a brick wall now in #ES_F. Today's long trigger given 9:18AM was 6842 recovery. We got it, ran to 6876 3rd target. We then sold to 6813 support, and I posted ~6842 had to recover to rally again. Rejected there, back to 6813

We've got some volatility in #ES_F and levels respecting well. Trade #1 was the 6842 recovery given at 9:18AM. Targets were 6855 (hit), 6863-66 (hit), 6876 (hit). Down went. 6813 was bottom support and we hit 6814 and popped. 6842 must reclaim to rally again now same upsides

@marktradewinst Probleem is dat je dit moet doortrekken naar meerdere fases. Als je dit 6x doet en je krijgt er 3 in de volgende fase zou je 1 of 2 payouts kunnen krijgen. Maar dan moet het wel echt 50/50 zijn

Ik ben zelf niet zo bezig met propfirms, maar het asymmetrische gokken wat je ermee kan doen is best interessant.
Stel dat een challenge $100 kost en je een 50/50 kans hebt om +$1.000 te winnen of -$1.000 verliezen met een random strategie (coinflip).
Stel je verliest die $100 drie van de vier keer, maar die ene keer dat je wint, krijg je een payout van $1.000. Dat betekent dat de expected value positief is, zelfs met een coinflip.
Dat is een edge op zichzelf. Heeft verder niks met een tradingstrategie te maken.
Even los van het feit dat propfirms er alles aan zullen doen om zo min mogelijk te hoeven uitbetalen 😉

Yesterday we got my core setup 3:30PM: The Failed Breakdown. Its all I trade. At 2:36PM I tweeted 6438 reclaim triggers up. My target was 6461 (hit), which is the core resistance this week.. Brick wall
Plan today: Hold runner. 6461=support. 6469, 6474, 6480 next. Dip 6448 below

#ES_F loves to give us the late day long and we got it. I tweeted the setup at 2:36PM: 6438 Failed Breakdown/reclaim (of the morning low) triggers up. We got the trigger 3:30PM. Targets were 6448 (hit), 6461. Protect gains, leave runner. Newsletter out soon with next trigger

Big follow through continues as we get a routine "elevator down" day, down 80 points from 5840 short trigger. Remember sells in #ES_F aren't slow, they melt all supports for hours, then ES puts in a violent squeeze. Let runners work

As I frequently write in the newsletter, we don't need to guess when sells will come in #ES_F. We don't need to fight strength, or try to top pick. We wait for well tested, supports to fail (5843 in this case) then we *react* short Bears control until 5800 1st, 5828 recover.

Quick flush off the open in #ES_F to test 5843 support, fill Sundays opening gap in the process, then back to 5855 again. 5864 remains the magnet this week/mid-point of the 2 week range as posted.
No change: 5864 magnet remains next, 5878 if ES wants more. 5843 must keep hold

Snails pace action into day #2 for #ES_F as it awaits on 4 major earnings reports starting today. Don't overtrade until vol hits. 5864 remains mid-point/magnet of a 2 week range. No change: 5855 must reclaim to see us back to 5864, 5878+. 5843-46 remains support (34, 15 below)

Its been breakout after breakout for #ES_F:
1. On Sept 18, broke out a 3 month inverse H&S @ 5725
2.Then,bull flagged 5734-5785. That broke out Wednesday. Measured move=6000+
Next Week: 5836=Support. Must hold to target 5866, 5890. Dip there, then 5970. If 5836 fails, sell 5785
