last friday was my final day working for @OpTic / @Envy this was my first job ever, and through the ups and downs, i cant be anything but grateful for the opportunity i had to work for two of the biggest brands in esports. working in gaming was always a dream of mine even before i knew i wanted to be a designer. being able to fulfill that dream working at two of the best teams in esports history is nothing short of a blessing to me. i will forever be a fan of this org and have nothing but love for OpTic and the Greenwall. Long Live Envy as well. a few thanks i want to give. this job meant a lot to me and i want to give my kudos to some of those who helped me along the way. gonna be long and i dont care. live by the yap and die by the yap. i want to thank Andrew and George Nowack for handing me the opportunity 3 years ago when i was fresh out of college. it may not have meant much to yall but you two connecting by chance led to me kickstarting my career in a way i never couldve ever imagined. thank you i also want to thank Aaron and Dan for being the best design mates i couldve asked for. i learned so much from the both of you. thank you Aaron for trusting me whole heartedly with the brand that was your baby, something you built for years and years. i hope i did you proud while i took over the cod team. and Dan for being the critical eye i needed at times, and the simplifier of my questions that i probably shouldve been able to answer on my own lmfao. shoutout to my boy Raf too for being my shadow designer at times and always challenging me to do better and gassing me up, helping me when needed no questions asked and being a great friend. my duo Joey. we worked together damn near daily for the past two years. thank you for being my personal spell checker, different perspective and the concoctor of many campaigns that were massive successes. sorry for so many spelling mistakes, reuploads, and any other inconveniences i definitely created for you. my fault og love ya though. thank you Corey Dunn for being a mentor and a voice of reason in times of struggle for me in my young career. your guidance, clarity and insight are things i will never forget or take for granted. i appreciate you eternally. my goat Paul. you were put in a precarious spot being the manager of 3 people who did a job that had no business being your responsibility, yet you still managed to make our days 10x easier week in and week out. thank you for putting up with us and being the best impromptu art director maybe ever. shoutout the production team: James, JP, Roger, Matt, Austin, CJ for giving me the assets to make my work actually look good, and taking my work and turning it into things i never could. to sales, marketing, events, etc, thank you for giving me some of the most challenging projects i had and pushing me to be better and keep my standards high on anything and everything i do. i swear that isnt a backhanded compliment lol thank you to Hastro and Hecz for creating these brands that i got to work on and make a name for myself doing so. you gave me the chance to be passionate and enjoy what i did for a living every day. i got to do what i love, in an industry that i love, thanks to you guys doing what you love in an industry that you love. thank you forever and shoutout to the Greenwall for hyping me up and keeping me humble with all of my work. from telling me i made a fire graphic, to saying "whoever made this must have been smoking crack when he was working", it was a pleasure to make some cool shit for yall. my graphic said "World Champions" btw none of that "CDL Champions" bullshit lmfaoooo #BrickByBrick im sure theres others i forgot to name but i gotta go find a job now so my mind is a bit scattered. at the end of the day i appreciate everyone i worked with over the past 3 and a half years for making my first job something ill never forget and have grown immensely from. im aware im nothing more than a cog in the wheel and i dont want this to seem like i think too highly of myself and need a big farewell, but i always want to give thanks to those who help me in my life. everyone please clap now, thank you
