Fun fact: Ian Curtis - The defining voice of Joy Division (New Order) - who arguably carved out the band creative trajectory was a staunch supporter of the Conservative Party who voted Tory in every election.
He once cadged a lift to the polling station from the local Liberal candidate (after giving the impression they’d back him), then went off and voted Tory.
