@HLpreps We drove all the way down. We stayed at same hotel. The team was coming out to the bus. Only 7 or 8 UK fans including myself. Hardly any of the guys looked up from their phones to acknowledge us and Pope had some guy tell everyone no photos of him as he walked by us. Pissed! 😠

No defense. No ball movement. No rhythm. Just brutal. What happened to the Pope offense? Why aren’t they moving the ball and generating open looks? It’s excruciating. UK men’s basketball unrecognizable

It's like I always say: any time you can overpay an unproven former player without a track record of success but who is well regarded as a nice guy, you have to do it. Can't think of a single instance where it hasn't worked out.

Didn’t Calipari’s biggest critics want a head coach who 1. Could do X’s and O’s 2. Run a modern offense 3. Cares more about winning than getting players to the NBA 4. Doesn’t talk down to the fan base Well… Who knows if Mark Pope can recruit at a high-level. He had certain recruiting limitations at BYU. He’s also never recruited with the Kentucky brand behind him. Give him a chance to succeed or fail before rushing to judgement.
