@yugopnik Bro I love you, but unlike SFRJ, USSR was a shit place and it treated WarPac countries as vassals, as colonies. Without even discussing oh so lovely 1924-1953 period. USSR is not and must not be an inspiration for the future. Only a warning on what not to do.

This take couldn’t be uttered 10 years ago. In 10 it will be the mainstream opinion. One day at a time - class consciousness is a diesel engine - hard to start up - but when it gets going everyone fucking hears it.

BREAKING: Speaking at Yale Hasan Piker express his devastation over the fall of the USSR. “The fall of the USSR was one of the greatest catastrophes of the 20th century.” This is who Democrats are now campaigning with.

@YOURBOIAYANDA @lvsq0 @strppngyngthng @MissStrandy @darkgroyp @Jonas_Ceika Listen if you need a personal butler to run after you, observer your entire life and be able to make all the choices for you. I'm ngl I'd probably have a better time in bed with the butler.
All the left can do is offer you suggestions, advice, not solutions.

@lvsq0 @strppngyngthng @MissStrandy @darkgroyp @Jonas_Ceika What do you suggest we do? sit by and watch?

It's a symptom of how shit our sex ed and gender relations are that men will impose sex as a chore on their partner without considering that most women actually like enjoying sex too, and will have sex with you more often if you make it pleasurable for them instead of a chore

@yugopnik eh don't you think it's more likely they are just surrounded by an environment that constantly re-enforces their beliefs and that's why they can't change? Even if there is neurological issue that person wouldn't be right wing if the right wing society didn't exit.
English

Hot take: In 50 years we will have massive studies linking right wing ideological inconsistency with literal physical mental disability. And no, this is not just me calling them R words in a nice way - I genuinely believe that a vast number of Americans don't have the mental faculties required for adult level critical thought - wether it is genetic, environmental or something third - we'll know eventually. This goes past the classic philosophical argument that "we are formed by our environment" - while the vast majority are subjects shaped by the society they grew up in (material conditions etc.) there is a sub strata of cretins so profoundly inconsistent that one must recognise their failings as more biological than political.

@PhilosophyCuck It's a sort of dystopian architecture. Where we have accepted that we've reached the end of history, even though we reminisce of the days that used to be. At least it's how I see it.
English

@PhilosophyCuck I think there's a severe lack of decor, on the new building. They took the skeleton of history and tried to modernize it, make it "practical". As a result it ends up looking like a cheap replica. Stuck between trying to imitate the past and trying to be something new.

@FunSizeDragon I'm too anxious to speak usually, but know that your presence is appreciated wherever you choose to go

@LadyKalma Is there some sort of controller I've not been aware of this whole time ??
English

@MaskOfRavens That's claustrophobia for me.
I cannot stand being in confined spaces, but when I see that space I always go like "damn I gotta get in there."
English

@LadyKalma Why does it look like the flag of the country I'm currently living at.
Guess you learn something new about yourself every day eh
English

@Lucky_BunTTV I know right?
You can usually tell if you squint though cause people who use AI tend to have no motivation for actually learning how to draw. So you end up with a highly sophisticated art style, but the mistakes present are so uncanny valley.
