Perps in crypto has got to be the worst thing to ever exist in this space, it makes "gambling" look like a joke. "skill issue" , "it's a tool" , "bad trader" Bro? THE biggest hedge funds/desks have gotten wiped.. You have mathematical geniuses and 0,0001% percentile quants getting COOKED. Alameda used to be the P4P desk and EVEN they got knocked out during the FTX boom, it should tell you something.. There are literally NO other ways to go from 100-0 aside from perps, tradfi? good luck, max 2x leverage and you have to pass an exam to use site "XYZ". Not even gambling can do the amount of damage perps can do. I went to a casino in Monaco last year and actually got hit with an AML for a 5k deposit on a Blackjack table. This space is actually just a hardcore casino and it's designed to drain every single cent from your pocket no mercy. You can literally run mills to zero, look at 10/10 for instance. There's no AML, no KYC no restrictions literally nothing to protect the "consumer" a 5 year old can depo 10m with no qualifications There's a reason you have Crypto traders waking up 20x a night to track their position incase fraudulent activities take place aka your positions being crimed, how many times have you been right on a trade but got crimed out? consequences for that? Nada, that's not what trading is. Most normies/people who made decent money pivot to trading perpetuals with 0 experience and 99,9% time they take their positions based of a trader here in CT, what they don't know is the stacked variables against them doing this. 1. Most of the traders here are larps and make their money off sheep/affiliates not actually trading 2. Big twitters/traders actually get payed by Market makers (the people moving the price up and down) to shill the wrong direction so the market makers can milk retail positions aka YOU. Let's take capo for instance, who remembers this guy being a max bear when btc was Literally ATL during the FTX boom? how many People got liquidated and fucked because they trailed his calls? Don't trade perps, don't be an injured gazelle in a field full of hungry predators

Crypto was always about having your own independence and not relying on banks, back in 2016-2020 you could barely use crypto>real world and if you did it was nowhere near as efficient as it is today, you can literally travel around the world and live comfortably if you have Crypto in lets say your CRO.com card lmao

My 11th year in crypto - Paid with bitcoin in my life: twice - Stablecoins: a lot more but always using debit/credit cards linked to stablecoins, so in a way still paying with fiat Nice that bitcoin is at 66.000$, but what did we actually accomplish? How often have you really paid with crypto? What are we even doing here? Has anyone actually become happier or more content? How close are we to changing the financial system? Pretty valid questions to ask when the mood in the space is worse than ever before and the amount of believers that crypto can change the world is lower than ever Personally i was never here for the ideology, although i strongly respect the hardcore builders, contributors, believers. I learned and staid because it was easy to earn a lot of money And now only here to help others Funny how life goes Also does not matter at all, because it was not as if paying with some digital coins would suddenly make humans more content, only looking inside can accomplish that

That said, i still believe the space has more to offer, new innovations and things to be excited about and it's been a while since i've experienced the excitement that i feel now for when i speak for #Hyperliquid I can sit and talk about the project & team for hours and hours but we'll cut it short. I think Hyperliquid is an innovation & movement worth keeping your eyes on, my portfolio consists of 3 holdings and these are $BTC, $HYPE, $USDC. I truly believe these are the best EV holds in the next couple of years. If you believe NFTs are going to pick up at some point, hypurrs could be a good beta play. Hyperliquid

I ended up fading Lighter which did well aswell but landed most of the worthwhile projects/plays. During these years i've witnessed the space go from a diamond mine > a gold mine > silver mine and we're currently mining bronze ore. 10/10 to me was the nail in the coffin. I truly believe the markets are fully saturated and it's extremely easy to lose your money these days with little to no chance of rebuilding the way you used to be able to. Truth is everythings a pure scam, from insider traders to ICO teams milking insane valuations for pure garbage and then you have the manipulations/exploits/rugs and just hardcore degeneracy the past year, it's become a joke, this isn't bear market cope, this is the harsh reality of bubbles bursting -

Been pretty inactive since 10/10, took a pretty big loss that made me seriously rethink how I approach projects, trading, and the space in general. I've been in the space for quite some time, i made high 7 figs of uniswap/dydx/ens airdrop, took part in the ico boom days in 2017 hit insane returns on projects i aped in on then, took part in defi summer in 2021 made a killing there and honestly the last worthwhile thing for me was Hyperliquid, i was a super early adoptoor and landed a decent airdrop -

If history is any indication, the market cycle low for Bitcoin will occur between October 3rd to October 11th of 2026, plus or minus a few days. I'm sure plenty of rallies will occur between now and then.

Be careful with tier lists. Crypto isn’t that easy. If everyone’s in, there’s no alpha. If no one’s in, there’s probably a reason. Let’s take an example. Variational? Yeah, it’s hot. But the TGE is likely after Q3 2026. Q3. We’re in January 2026, guys. Lol. And everyone is farming it? Points are insanely hard to earn, so the time you put in probably won’t pay off.
