@OtaKing77077 The term "Content" means everything and nothing and it does a huge disservice to what being a creative and making art is even about. Which is why the term is so hollow.

I'm not a content creator. I (try, at least) to make art or at least something worth people's time to look at. Saying you're a "content creator" is like saying you're a "sludge purveyor." Don't belittle yourself!

Every time I hear some woke screenwriter or reviewer talk about the need for “morally complex” plots or “morally grey” heroes, I think of this quote from Nietzsche. “They muddy the water, to make it seem deep.”

We’ve decided that a TV show about wizards is the moral hill to die on while we ignore the child labor in our pockets and the sweatshops on our backs. It is the cheapest form of activism because it requires zero sacrifice. You aren't "dismantling a system" by skipping a Max subscription. You’re just picking the one moral battle that doesn't actually cost you anything. If you applied the same "ethical consumption" standard to your morning coffee or your smartphone you’d be living in a cave. We don't want to be ethical. We just want to look ethical on the timeline.
