@RageDarling @kayPOWXD What rage said, they only cut reverb / echo of a room. When it comes to sound proofing that gets expensive very quick. To actually pretty much stop the sound so they cant hear you, you will prob have build a room in a room and fill the walls with something like rockwool rw5

@kayPOWXD Speaking from experience, acoustic wall paneling does nothing for actual sound dampening. The room next to my office is my neighbour’s master bedroom and I’ve already had them bang on the wall when I’ve shouted at 1/2am 😅

Do you think having a desk facing the neighbours wall would make the sound much worse than facing away? Badgerz and I could have our desks side by side, not taking up the walkway if we did. Would acoustic panelling help? Or bad idea and just keep awkward desk layout? 🤔✨️

so APPARENTLY, I'm a dummy and didn't realise you need a capture card. I have an old Elgato HD60S - do you reckon this would do?!

@onepeg @EsfandTV Plus1 on the SQ-5 along with a dante card. The QU series is good for basic use but has a tendency to crash under certain conditions

@EsfandTV Check out the Allen and heath QU-16 or SQ-5. Both should do the job.

I'm looking to buy a new Audio mixer with 6 XLR inputs, 3+ L/R Audio Inputs (forgot what it's called), and 5+ different audio outputs. 2 being for 1 source (mic only) send, 1 being for headphones, 1 being for speakers, and one being USB to my streaming PC. Any suggestions?

@AwkwardTallulah personally I only use v-mount but I have seen unlimited IRL do one called Power X1 unsure how good it actually is then there is something like anker 737
