I’ve been noticing a sharper edge to the replies, some hostile. Most folks are still cool, but there is definitely a growing crop of salty people popping off.   I get it, times have been rough across the board recently. For some, clearly they blew it all. And yeah, that’s just how it goes sometimes, the price people pay to learn. A portfolio doesn’t hang out at all-time highs for long, yet we have this mindset that it should and get pissed when it’s not.   I do my best to keep things positive and lay out my takes as best as I can as free of bias as possible. And that means sometimes flipping the script on something I said a week or a month ago, which pisses people off.  If you’re into the “gotcha you said this before” game then you don’t appreciate how schizophrenic markets can be.  But fact is, opinions shift as fast as the market switches mood. If I think I got something wrong or it breaks a pattern/structure, I’m not about to cling to it like a stubborn fool just because I put it out there before. Like you, I’ll miss the mark often, and that’s fine.  What counts is how much you’ve got on the line and how you handle it.   So, don’t let money mess with your head. You’re not going to nail it every time, I sure don’t.  I’ve said in the past, a good 40% of my trades won’t work. Which probably means it’s higher for ideas posted here. My portfolios, they’re off their peaks, but to a point where it’s nothing unusual . When I look at the big picture, and not the recent high water mark.   So I guess, don’t let that get you down. And catch your emotional state so you don’t start tilting to a series of bigger mistakes.  Anyway, checking out for a few days to rest the mind and spend time with the kids. Enjoy the weekend!
