Abdalla Juma was a highly experienced Kenyan football coach with a long career in the Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKF Premier League). Renowned for rebuilding teams and developing young talent, he coached several top-flight clubs across Kenya. Juma first made his name at Thika United, where he spent eight years building a competitive side and a successful youth academy that produced players such as Moses Arita, Crispin Olando, Kepha Aswani, and Joel Bataro. Under his guidance, Thika United finished third in the 2009 league season, one of the club's best-ever campaigns. He later joined KCB FC in 2013, leading the club from a 10th-place finish the previous season to fourth in his debut year. During his spell, he helped develop standout players including Brian Osumba, Jacob Keli, and Clifford Alwanga. Over the years, Abdalla Juma also managed Western Stima, Chemelil Sugar, Bidco United, FC Talanta, Vihiga Bullets, Murang'a Seal, and served as an assistant coach at AFC Leopards. He was widely respected for his tactical knowledge and ability to achieve results despite limited resources. In January 2024, he was appointed head coach of Murang'a Seal, tasked with helping the club retain its FKF Premier League status. He left the club later that year following a difficult run of results. Most recently, Abdalla Juma served as the head coach of Sofapaka FC, continuing his long-standing contribution to Kenyan football as one of the country's most experienced local coaches. 🚨 Devastating News 💔🕊️ The family has confirmed that Coach Juma Abdallah passed away today at 1:00 a.m. He will be laid to rest today at 4:00 p.m. in Murang'a Town. Kenyan football has lost a respected coach, mentor, and leader whose passion and dedication inspired generations. His legacy will live on through the many lives he touched.
