"If you want to apply the Market Auction theory concepts seriously, you must also navigate to the option market and study Greeks, Open Interest, Gamma Exposure, Max Pain, etc. That gave us the day's low +400 points away from the open and close at 16h, around 200 points away from the low."

@TheMidasTrading This zone held pretty strong 2 times before, which indicates buyers waiting to buy at a discount price. As soon as those 700 orders came, it got absorbed by those buyers and the market shot upwards, indicating that this was not a false breakout.

I'm back to live trading @TheMidasTrading after some vacations. I made only two NQ trades (100 + 230 pts). I used the #MSSD framework and eventually the best strategy ever: PACIENCE. Patience to wait for the consolidation and the flip zone, patience to wait for the return to the zone, patience to wait for the profit target below the London session low.

I lost $1.4m trading in September. - I increased risk due to a strong month in Aug ($900k) - I got a bit biased due to rate cuts and assumed markets would sell off hard and fell in love with the “potential” outcome - had a strong start to the month as well and didn’t know when to slow down. Played offense well and didn’t play defense when I needed too - tilted a few days - days where there were no trades, I forced trades In simple theory, I was an idiot this month. This is the other side of the “big” profitable trading days. Will try to get a full write up/ breakdown on this month soon. Time to claw back from this drawdown 🫡
