Thank you to all our volunteers who took part in the very informative and enlightening Year 12 careers day. From LinkedIn workshops and CV writing to virtual interviews, our volunteers put our students through their paces in helping to prepare them for their next steps.

Today has been an admin day sorting out team SIM card for the emergency phone, exchanging all of our £ into Madagascan ariary. Then the team had to buy essentials to keep us going for the next few days. Walking around the streets was very " different"-

Our Year 10 PRE students enjoyed an awe-inspiring day at St. Paul's Cathedral yesterday.

We did it! Students smashed their fundraising target on Friday in support of @BritishRedCross! A big well done to our senior student leadership team who spearheaded the charity day, earning everyone extra non-uniform days next year in the process. Congratulations!

An inspiring and insightful talk to students today from Stephen Tanno, who shared his expertise on engineering, architecture and careers in construction.

Thank you to Peter Farmer from the Department for Work and Pensions who provided Year 12 Economics students with an insight into possible career paths, the work of this government department, and how it links to their studies.

The first of three visits this week for Year 9 students to Futures Day at @_BNUni. A fabulous day exploring future options.

Our Year 10 triple science students had a fascinating day @HarwellCampus yesterday. They enjoyed a lecture on the Vulcan Laser project and attended a workshop on neutronics.

Thank you to Dan Hope from @ECNGeolSoc who gave a fascinating talk to our Year 12 Geographers about careers opportunities in Geoscience. An inspiring session - and a great chance for Mr Jacob to catch up with one of his former students!

Our lucky Year 10 geographers are undertaking their fieldwork studies in the stunning setting of Highcliffe Beach.

Students in Years 7-9 enjoyed a fabulous workshop from @GarsingtonOpera yesterday devising their own version of Mozart's The Marriage of Figaro. This precedes their visit to the opera at Wormsley next month.
