Thanks. Trainline offer split tickets, which splits the journey into separate tickets with differing restrictions which can lower the cost. The Anytime ticket which has been purchased is the most flexible ticket type which can be used on any service, and isn't restricted to be used on Avanti West Coast trains only. The cheapest fares would be Advance tickets, however these are subject to availability and can sell out, so are best booked ahead of time - Sam
