@iGargleCement @Alxsola Because that opinion is sent directly to them on social media, on their streams, all in public. This isn't like just your private thoughts about them you keep in your head. Don't pretend like you don't understand this, reasonable people see through that.

@hammerpaw13 I genuinely wonder if devs care about the problems players are pained by, and whether they want to actually solve these problems or not. It doesn't seem like it.
They're definitely capable of solving a lot of things, or helping us understand why they're not.

@iGargleCement @Alxsola The game itself is the comparison, not your opinion. The comparison is whether they win or lose, not your opinion of them and your feelings about them that come from god knows where.
They're not competing for your approval and your favor. This competition isn't about you.

hero bans are whatever but I’ve been anti-map picks since day 1. I’d MUCH rather have the game randomly decide the map for me than map votes, this system is genuinely terrible and I’m tired of it

Hey @PlayOverwatch Letting other players decide what map I play on and what heroes I can't use is NOT player agency. It's just stupidity of the masses. Can we get rid of this atrocious experiment please?

@reluscent Honestly heartbreaking. I really resent this aspect of the community. I was genuinely becoming more and more a fan of Lep every time I see him play. Was excited to see more of him moving forward. This news is really upsetting 💔

this is so sad. Lep is one of the kindest, most genuine ppl in the scene, and didnt deserve the amount of hate he got. I hope he can find peace and that the bullies go fuck themselves

At the end of Stage 1 and going into this stage, Lep and I spoke quite a bit about his mental health and where he is at as a player. I still believe he is a great player who can make a large impact in the game, but it was obvious the strain of playing 2-3+ blocks per day since Jan and dealing with insane hate from fans was taking its toll.
We had asked that Lep take a sub position to use stage 2 as a reset, but he ultimately asked to be released from the roster.
As a long-time friend of his, I hope that he takes some time away to come back stronger because I know the competitor in him will not let him stop. He is and will always be an asset to any team he is a part of and those who will have him in the future will be lucky.

@HuntertainCasts @Bullskunk @PlayOverwatch How about each player can set in their account their preferred maps and heroes, then matchmaking matches players taking that into account to balance for fun and fairness.

@Bullskunk @PlayOverwatch The alternative is the map being random again and having literally no agency with how the match goes. Democracy at least gives some agency. Sounds better than ten people who don't wanna play Paraiso being forced to play the map with zero choice.

@Xythiera @_SaturnOW_ Yeah, that's really sad and unfortunate. I wish there was more money in the scene to go around. The talent and skill these players show and have developed is really worth rewarding.
