This week, we officially concluded #TheMuseumsLab 2024! 🎉 Fellows, alumni, and team members came together to reflect on this year’s programme and explore opportunities for future collaboration.

The evening brought everyone together to celebrate the closing of Module 3, marking the conclusion of a rich & transformative week. We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who made this experience so memorable, with special thanks to the Fellows & our partners @ghana_museums

In the afternoon, the Fellows shared their learnings and challenges, reflecting on the programme. They also collaborated to create an artwork inspired by Funtunfunefu Denkyemfunefu—the Adinkra symbol of Unity in Diversity.

In the afternoon, we were welcomed at the Museum of Archaeology, where Senior Lecturer Gertrude Aba Mansah Eyifa-Dzidzienyo provided insights into this teaching museum.

Afterwards, two presentations took place: 'Objects as Shared Vestiges,' led by Prof. Kodzo Gavua, and 'Beyond the Year of Return: The Role of Archaeology, Museology, and Heritage Studies,' presented by Prof. Dr. Wazi Apoh. Both sessions included space for questions & discussions
