Yeah. I’ve got ancestors from both sides. I’m sure they all felt they were fighting for the greater good. It’s probably unfair to look back at most of the individuals involved and fault them too much. As shitty as it sounds, it was quite literally just a sign of the times. Now, fast forward 160+ years, gallivanting the flag around with pride is certainly a choice.

@TheNASCODY Amen Brother! I have direct family who fought under that flag. I am not ashamed of them as people of their time; however, I also know what their "flag" has come to represent, and it is in no way something I want to ever be associated with, much less celebrated by a sport we love

So, let’s look at this objectively: It’s a “TRADITION” to fly the C.S.A. flag…a flag which represented a disgruntled group of states that seceded from and took arms against the U.S.A.? There’s a ‘t’ word for those actions…I just have a hard time recalling it.
