Avatar Kyoshi's extremely violent acts during her 230 years as the Avatar:

1. Avatar Kyoshi was once engaging in battle with a bandit leader called Xu Ping. After a while, Avatar Kyoshi entered the Avatar state, grabbed Xu Ping, flew to the sky, and dropped Xu Ping to his death while watching as if she had just killed a mere ant.
2. Avatar Kyoshi once had a friend named Yun who was thought to be the Avatar before eventually finding out that she's the actual Avatar. After Yun became corrupted by a spirit and went on a vengeful killing spree, Kyoshi froze the blood and water in his lungs and heart to stop him instantly.
3. Avatar Kyoshi caused a massive scene at a high society tea party because she was using her immense power to intimidate the earth's kingdom royalty. She let bystanders get caught in the crossfire of her bending just to send a message that "The Avatar is coming for her enemies."
4. Avatar Kyoshi could use her war fans to bend glass ( a unique sub-bending), which she eventually used in a fight to create a literal whirlwind of sharp shards to shred her opponent's defenses.
Although Avatar Kyoshi was violent, she wasn't an evil or a bad person. she believed that mercy to the wicked is cruelty to the innocent.
