The @ReclaimAgenda International Women's Day march in Belfast city centre earlier this afternoon. Kate Nash and Lord Mayor of Belfast @micky_murray were among those leading the procession. There were speeches from Dawn Hopper, who was accompanied by her guide dog Micky, Sipho Sibanda, Cori Strain, Sophie Nelson, Amina Moustafa, and Sonita Alizadeh @BelTel

As part of #EuropeanWeekofSport, we visited @sariireland’s incredible SportsFest event in Phoenix Park on September 14th with @DavidGillick. Now in its 26th year, this remarkable event champions social inclusion, bringing communities together through the power of sport. ⚽ We spoke with key figures from SARI, as well as participants in the 7-a-side soccer tournament, to hear how this initiative is uniting communities across Ireland. 🌍 It’s inspiring to see how sport can break down barriers and build a more inclusive society. Huge credit to SARI for leading the way! 🙌 #MoveWithUs | #BeActive | #EWOS2024 | @SportIreland | @sarireland | @EuropeanCommiss

Our Peace Book Club had a fascinating discussion on trauma and how mental health and self-care needs to be taken seriously in mainstream society. Join us for our next book discussion on 27th Aug about ‘Black Butterflies’ by Priscilla Morris!
