@Littoria14 @TheGloriousLion There are no ethnic Russians in Ukraine except those brought from Russia to Donbas after the Holodomor. The same ethnic Ukrainians live in the East of Ukraine as in the rest of the country, with the difference that they were Russified, largely under Bolshevik rule.

They were/are also a colonial power. Nothing to be ashamed of. On the contrary, the Russian conquest of the east was a great feat – especially after suffering under the Mongol yoke for so many years.
That said, Russia needs to leave Ukraine.
I am not for Ukraine and against Russia in that conflict due to any consideration regarding colonialism.
I am for Ukraine because it is a somewhat homogenous European country whereas Russia is a multi-ethnic empire that prosecutes pro-Slavic Russians.
