Prince was an elite on ball defender all-season.
Arguably the best in NJCAA basketball.
He played hurt in the postseason.
He is a really good wing rebounder & improved offensively.
I had a chance to speak with him at Hutch and is a very nice likable young man.

I’ve been watching a lot of the Juco World Series this week on ESPN+, and it’s the purest form of baseball I’ve seen in ages. No K zone. No radar gun. Dodgy field. Just guys chasing dreams and a ring. I couldn't love it more. Especially considering this is who’s pitching tonight.

Thinking about my Great Uncle Bud and my “brother” Derek Argel on this Memorial Day.
Bud was KIA in France, August 23, 1944 after liberating Cherbourg with the Cross of Loraine 79th Infantry.
Derek was KIA on Memorial Day May 30 2005 in Iraq.
Gone but not forgotten.

Here’s what I’d like to see regarding post grads….
Keep the post grad year BUT……
I know you guys are going to think I’m insane…..
I want to see the @NCAA certify post grads. Let’s keep the good ones and end the human trafficking factories.
Go to a certified post grad, don’t lose a year.
There are elite post grads that do an incredible job with a long history of success. Let’s not end that. Let’s clean up the industry and continue to be creative with opportunities for graduating HS seniors.
And hell, it will give the NCAA a function that they SHOULD be focusing on.
I want the NCAA to exist and operate. I just want it to be legal and based on the real world and common sense.
