@Fanatics The Nike limited jerseys used to be $125 and the numbers and letters were stitched. Now it’s $175 and they are screen printed and the sizing of your jerseys is always off. We aren’t dumb. The product costs more and the quality is less. Blaming the consumer won’t help you.

@TheBoogerfinger @Avalanche The Dallas Stars almost never wear Northstar gear anymore. The Wild actually have a northstar themed reverse retro now which makes more sense as those fans can appreciate it. I am both standing on principle but I also have relations to that area.

@Real_Politik41 @Avalanche The Fleur de lid on that Nordiques jersey means something to the people in Quebc city. It is a symbol of their heritage. It just doesn’t feel right to me. If they took that off maybe it would be a little more appropriate. At the end of the day it’s just a preference.

@mountaingirl412 @Avalanche Out of technicality yes but the current people who are Aves fans did not watch the Nordiques. There are more Montreal fans that probably used to be Nordiques fans. Going retro feels better when it’s from your own location… building off of memories from your fans in my opinion.

@TheNotoriousTK @Avalanche It is part of the Avs history like it or not and they have only brought it up one time with the reverse retro until now. They are paying tribute to where they came from which is not uncommon

@Colora_Dan They have tried. They built a very nice arena for this very reason but it has to do with the economics… it’s a much smaller market so the nhl does not have the same incentive they would to put a team in a bigger TV market like Houston.
