@MagicMushMM seeing them from the inside, there are some dumb aspects people and discourse, but honestly, the good outweights the bad now, we got a ton of fans that managed to work for the franchise, the movies put the characters in front even more.

@TheNovika Sonic fans have a huge issue of ignoring any flaws with their favorite games. I like Unleashed and have put dozens of hours into it but all the 6/10 reviews it got are completely fair. The framerate, the pacing, the amount of playtime the werehog has, talking to NPCs, etc.
