Talladega: Winner: Hocevar Did Not Compete: Heim San Diego: Winner: Heim 19th: Hocevar (Heim spun him) Brickyard 400: Winner: Heim 7th: Hocevar (Should have spun Heim) I think Heim is in better equipment with Toyota but I also think Hocevar should have punted Heim because of all the blocking. Should have been fair game with no interference from NASCAR. The only way to get a real and true comparison will be in the 2027 season…unfortunately. Only 6 months to find out.🤷🏻‍♂️

Insane Take? = Being realistic about the probable next full-time NASCAR Superstar and his unlimited potential for next season? Hocevar absolutely deserves to be 5th in points and fighting for a championship. Heim should have been full-time 2 years ago. I just don’t think Hocevar will win a championship in the next 2–3 years because I don’t think he’s mature enough…yet. I can absolutely see Heim winning the championship next year. I hope I’m wrong about Hocevar but he disappoints with most of his finishes except for the Dega win. Please do pray-tell how what I say is “insane?!?” Seriously…go watch Noah Gragson’s Brickyard in-car audio talking about Zilisch…THAT is “INSANE” AND UNHINGED. You need some open-minded perspective. Ty Gibbs and Carson Hocevar are 4th and 5th in points and you’re talking abt them like they’re on the Chase cutline. They are absolutely going to win more races. We will see how heim performs over an entire season.
