Last Tuesday he lost 250k on a Champions League game. To cover the debt, he called the lender he borrowed from in March. The man gave him 48 hours. On Thursday morning, he came with a towing van. They took my friend’s Corolla from the compound and loaded the TV, fridge, and generator. On Friday he signed over the land papers to the same lender.
