I made it to Master Ball this season with a team where all my Pokemon have below 500 BST including my Mega! I came in with a record of 21-7! Proving once and for all you can reach Master Ball with literally anything. Can we please save the tweets for high elo stuff only now 🥹🥹

Made Day 2 of the GCF Encore at 7-1 - I didnt play for almost two weeks leading up to the tour so I am happy with my play and being able to show consistency in these big tours by Day 2in both! It’s peaceful knowin Im still progressin despite not being able to travel for over 2yrs

I know yall are going crazy about 100% accurate Zap Cannons off a 160 Base Spatk BUT in case you didn't realize this: Mega Raichu X has 90 SpAtk, sets up electric terrain, and gets access to a 140 BP RISING VOLTAGE. So I made the calcs and max spatk Mega X Rising Voltage does MORE than max spatk Mega Y Zap Cannon! Just saying... My boy is NOT jobless

@Yonepatchi I don’t think the true test has come out yet, a lot of people play showdown on their phones so we gotta wait for mobile drop on champions to see the true result - Showdown is undefeated for looking stuff up tho

Can a VGC player share if their relationship with Showdown has changed at all since the release of Champions?
I rmbr some initial discourse of it being the "Showdown Killer" -- but that doesn't seem to be the case, presently (from a tcg player perspective lol).

I genuinely think I am the only person who likes open natures lol, having more consistent informations should reward who plays better, making unique spreads is important, but do you really think winning games because of a random max speed or max def spread is skillfull at all?

@flbreglass My biggest complaint is honestly how it takes like a full 3 seconds to pick your moves cause it has to be some sort of slide show between every action - I could speed run clicking moves in SV in like a second 😭

@M2guelEsh Sneasler is top tier but I’m ngl the Mon is kinda Mid, but that is probably just because Chomp is top dog in the format, and every Gambit is Chople, you’re kinda cheeks into Basc and Aegi too. So the best thing you’re doing is just chunking Floette and abusing Unbruden 😭

@MoggyOh With protect having 8 PP now you should never lose these, cause you can just protect while they’re protecting and if you both protect the slower Pokémon’s will fail so you can protect again when they can’t if need be.

I knew the day would come when the masses realized Tera forced bs 50/50s and gave stat sticks a get out jail free card away from their weaknesses or make positioning tools like Fake Out and Spore useless for literally no cost at all - Doesn’t ruin the fundamentals or anything 🤪

If I had a nickel for every time your group said “I’m so done with this format” then built one more team for the format just to go to the final tournament of said format and win the whole thing. I’d have two nickels, which won’t pay my rent but I find it funny it happened twice.

My favorite teams I’ve built/used in SV. Atlanta might honestly be my favorite even though I went 5-3, seeing my friends @ArKaneVGC and @PandaMan7567 in the finals was my favorite moment from this entire generation! Also just now realizing I listed 2 Peli and 2 Iron Crown, lol

The masses are learning that Tera can be considered balanced and horrible for the game at the same time - It’s almost like it breaks the fundamentals of Pokemon and gives people a get out of jail free card for bad positioning 😱😱😱

@Espybrave @AzazeL_the_God Remind me later on today when you see this and I will find a replay of the team. I somehow always play Wolfe on bo1 ladder when they’re prepping Perish Trap. My guess is since it was so successful in SV Wolfe is giving it one last ride. Remember Flip Turn Primarina for the future
