One aspect of military service that “progressives”will never understand — the sacrifices our military makes and our pride in the nation we represent. We’re proud to be American. One of my most cherished career moments occurred after we’d been deployed for months flying in the Bosnian War. We operated every day, rain or shine, and endured being shot at routinely. We were bringing the squadron home, all 220 of us, tired and needing to depressurize a bit. I had promised all of the families that everyone would make it back, and we had. After our Atlantic Ocean crossing, I received a radio call from New York Center, “Reach 15, radar contact. Welcome home.” I was still 4 hours from landing at my base, Travis AFB, California, but I felt it. We were home. 🇺🇸

What many people might not realise is that Western men and women my age (30-40) came to Catholicism with almost no direction or guidance. Our parents weren't catechised and didn't go to church because they were the children of the Revolution. We grew up in a time of degeneracy before there was any conversation about its impact on us. There was no conservative social media platforms. There were no conservative influencers. There were no religious podcasts. We had teach ourselves everything from scratch from the handful of priests and parishes that still knew the way. We were the last generation of wanderers. We re-discovered tradition and made it strong and popular again. We left the old world behind, got married in the Church, had children and gave them the faith we never received. We paid that price. It's the next generation that's going to save the world, we were the vanguard that prepared the way. This has always been our purpose. Now, there's nothing more gratifying than seeing an old friend you grew up with that went down the wrong path with a family of his own on a Sunday morning. We made it, brother. Let's do it for them.

He was named an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation case, the biggest terror-financing trial in U.S. history. The Foundation and its leaders were convicted on 108 counts for funneling over $12 million to Hamas. Court records show Said approved donations from the mosque to the group. Said also spoke at events for the Islamic Association for Palestine (a federal court-identified Hamas propaganda arm) and raised money inside the mosque for Sami Al-Arian, who later pleaded guilty to supporting Palestinian Islamic Jihad. The mosque’s former longtime imam, Kifah Mustapha (2002–2014), was a paid Holy Land Foundation fundraiser and also listed as an unindicted co-conspirator. He admitted under oath he worked as their Illinois agent while at the mosque and was identified as part of the Muslim Brotherhood’s Palestine Committee. A 2004 Chicago Tribune investigation revealed how Muslim Brotherhood hard-liners took over the mosque in the 1980s. These are the facts from federal court documents (U.S. v.
