The Spartans bring in an elite recruiting class and retain some experienced pieces led by star point guard Jeremy Fears Jr. Overall, this roster has a very high ceiling and looks like a roster that can compete for a championship.

This offseason they lost Momcilovic, Jefferson, and Lipsey. In response, the cyclones hit the portal very hard this offseason and look to have a deep team. I think this team can compete for the big 12 with a newly revamped roster.

Now, he looks to take the next step. Doing so will not be easy however. The hawkeyes are losing 3 core pieces in Stirtz, Folgueiras, and Banks. McKeever and Coleman will look to fill those holes as well as younger guys off the bench.

Omer Mayer will take over the keys at point guard after the departure of Braden Smith and C.J. Cox will maintain some continuity with this young roster. This team has lots of young talent and there will be plenty of opportunities for big minutes.
