He already said he will play Center or wing or whatever is best for team. 5. He wants to stay 6. He should always be a Penguin 7. We have so much Cap Space, it doesn't matter 8. He isn't blocking any young players - The only Reason would be : 1. If ur going full ReBuild, then even Sid should be Traded. This is 1 of the dumbest things ever & Dubas should have already got this done.

@Jeffs_Penguins I’d make Sid sign an extension prior to offering Malkin anything. And if Sid won’t sign an extension then absolutely trade him and then go full rebuild. My only hesitation with Geno is he’s gonna be 40, gets hurt, and blocks Kindel and Chinakhov on PP1.

@ChrisMuellerPGH That’s roughly fair value for his production and he is t blocking Kindel since he almost assuredly won’t play center. It feels like a no brainer. It quite literally hurts nothing, and might be a selling point to russian players
