In the last 30 days I have focused on my health in new ways. I have done Pilates 5 days a week, I have cut out refined and processed carbs and focused on meat and vegetables, no grains. I have added electrolytes to my water and have deleted sodas, juices and alcohol (except for 3-4 drinks over last 30 days). I have focused on my posture and breathing. I have spoken positively to myself about myself. And in the last 30 days I have lost 8lbs and built muscle, and I have felt better than I have in the last year. Grateful today for my renewed sense of willpower and dedication to myself and my health.

@Amaterasuuu0426 if it's a skeletal scoliosis, Pilates can't fix that but if it's postural, it will balance out. However even if it's skeletal, Pilates massively helps to even out the muscle tone of either side, to improve all manner of things from breathing, pain, tone, joint stability.

@zenny_91 Ha ha - we hear ya! But build those foundations strongly on the whole Pilates system and months of baking that powerhouse will give you the support, control, stability and confidence to do the bendy stuff later

@KShmooLaLa Who needs trendy when there's classic! Read more here thepilatespod.co.uk/reformer-trend/

@RSF_George YESSSSS to this! Hopefully you get experience the basics of the full system not just Reformer. It's absolute joy for your body for life.

@PrettyGurlDaye enjoy- sounds like it's going to be a great day!

@sophielongx Pilates helps strength training, but strength training helps Pilates too. Pilates teaches you how to find space in your spine and work in a more balanced strength/stretch way so it's obviously hitting the spot that perhaps heavy lifting was only strengthening
English

@thedanielaros @Tyler_Van_Acker it's a game changer- glad it's helped you!
English

@Tyler_Van_Acker What a fit couple.
Fit in mind.
Fit in body.
Fit in love.
Btw I love pilates. Helped me a lot with my core issues.

@clare_k07 @SquirrelTribe We hear that. That's the beauty of the Classical Pilates method. The original work has a studio system where the magic happens and the floor based matwork which you can do between studio sessions. Check out youtu.be/qdHq7a4cIvM

@SquirrelTribe Nice job! I need to find a way to get back to Pilates. I love it, but a studio membership’s not in my budget right now. 🧘🏻♀️
