Everyone knows they need to workout. Everyone knows they need 8 hours of sleep. Everyone knows they need to eat whole foods. Everyone knows what to do in order to be healthy. But they lack the MINDSET to get started & to continue.

Great communication = great teamwork. Here’s how to improve yours: 1️⃣ Be clear: Get to the point—avoid jargon. 2️⃣ Listen actively: Show you value others’ input. 3️⃣ Ask for feedback: It’s the fastest way to grow. Good communicators are natural leaders. Start practicing today.

Struggling to speak up at work? Think: 1. Your perspective adds value. 2. Asking questions shows initiative, not weakness. 3. Communication builds trust & respect. Start small—share an idea or clarify a point in a meeting. The more you speak, the more confidence you’ll build.

Struggle to speak up in Bible study? Start small: 1️⃣ Pray for courage before the discussion. 2️⃣ Write down your thought or question. 3️⃣ Speak early—it gets harder the longer you wait. Your insights can bless someone else. Speak with confidence and let God do the rest!

Ever feel nervous asking for a favor? It’s not fear of rejection—it’s overthinking how you’ll be judged. Here’s the truth: 1) People are often more willing to help than you think. 2) Asking shows courage & trust, not weakness. Keep it simple, be genuine, & trust they'll help.

Afraid to share your thoughts at church? Think: 1) God uses ordinary voices to spread extraordinary truths. 2) It’s not about perfect words; it’s about an open heart. 3) Your perspective could be exactly what someone needs to hear. Step out in faith & let Him guide your words.

Think asking for a favor makes you a burden? Flip the script: 1) Helping others feels good—your request might make their day! 2) Asking builds trust & strengthens relationships. 3) You’d probably help them without hesitation, right? Asking is a sign of connection, not weakness

@AdamMGrant It will be such a cultural & norm change for just about everyone but it transcends into a much greater and affectionate relationship. Rather than going to the top layer of a person, you can go much deeper. Thus bringing about trust with each other.

When parents only ask about grades and goals, kids infer that achievement comes first. To signal that we value their well-being and character, we should also ask about happiness and kindness: -What made you feel joyful? Sad or worried? -Who did you help? Who helped you?

@TomBilyeu Such an eye opener to me. Explains why I might not carry through so many things because I look at it from a smart lens, rather than a dumb lens. Not saying either or two are bad, but one like you says definitely carries the advantages more than the other. Lesson learned.

The dumber you are about business when you start, the richer you'll get. Let me explain: Smart people get trapped by what they know. They follow rules. Copy competitors. Play it safe. We knew nothing about protein bars. That's why Quest succeeded. When manufacturers said "impossible" we asked "why?" When experts said "you need high-fructose corn syrup" we said "watch us." When advisors said "outsource production" we built our own machines. Smart people would've quit. I was too dumb to know better. The result? 57,000% growth in 3 years. $400M in revenue. Sold for $1 billion. Here's what most people miss... Being dumb means: You ask basic questions You challenge assumptions You try "impossible" things You build what customers want, not what experts recommend Smart means: Following best practices Copying proven models Avoiding risks Listening to experts Playing by the rules The market is oversaturated with "smart." It's starving for different. Experience tells you what can't be done. Ignorance lets you try anyway. Knowledge shows you the limits. Being dumb lets you break them. The market doesn't need more smart people. It needs more people smart enough to act dumb. Your ignorance is your superpower. Use it before it's gone.

@nancyduarte I've listened to so many people my age, younger & older share with me experiences they've had, only for me to lose focus or become bored because they didn't know how to share i . Can shyness & fear of embarrassment prevent someone to be an effective storyteller?

Storytelling is like adding a splash of color to a black-and-white world. It transforms dry data into a vibrant narrative that captures attention. By weaving facts into a story, you not only engage your audience but also make your message memorable!

@Cobratate This is not only referring to being a fighter. You can't read all the books you want & do all the courses, But true "winners" do the work before everyone else does.

This guy works for me at the compound, great guy, said he trained kickboxing 3 times a week for years and wanted to join in our bodyshot sparring days. There is a huge difference between training and being a fighter. Prime fighters destroy hobbiests as easy as they destroy someone who doesn't train at all.⁩

@TimTebow This is was 100% my biggest mistake. I'd try to be busy all the time & fill my day with as many things as possible to stay busy & think I worked hard. This only led me to never do anything because my hard work was never backed by any goals. As a leader, goals drive work ethic.

Hard work is NOT the goal! A work ethic is pointless without purpose. Hard work is good, but why do you do it?

Nervous about asking for a favor? Try this: 1️⃣ Start with gratitude: "I really appreciate all you’ve done for me." 2️⃣ Be clear & concise: "Could you help me with [specific thing]?" 3️⃣ Accept their response without pressure. Confidence is asking. Kindness is in how you ask. 💡

@TheJohnCMaxwell Yes! People need to develop their communication and actually work on it if they aspire to lead. People talk so much they realize they don't know how to at times.

@QuoteJung That can help explain why the a proper community for someone is so important. When two different personalities come together, both for the common goal, how can the two not be transformed. It can be almost impossible.

Everyone thinks you speak GREAT //a thread// When I was 18, I had the opportunity to be involved in a few Toastmasters for a class. Toastmaster is a a nonprofit organization that helps people develop public speaking and leadership skills. I was a nervous wreck!! Why?
