@GolfweekNichols Of the ~17,000 golf courses in the US, ~2,900 are municipal (that’s 20%). Municipal golf courses are exceptional assets! We need to do everything we can to protect and sustainably manage these community green spaces!

Two golf courses shaped my life. One has already closed. The other one, a muni, might be downsized in the near future. Forces are gathering to stop it. Safe spaces are important to our community. Green space is important. UGH.
