On March 18, 2026, at around 1:30 a.m., Israeli occupation forces targeted a building in Zuqaq al-Blat, deliberately killing Al Manar political programs director and veteran anchor Mohammad Sherri and his wife. The two are among 12 people killed in airstrikes that struck multiple parts of Beirut.

Hadi was herding goats with his aunt’s husband, Mahmoud, when an Israeli drone strike killed him. As his aunt and her husband called out for him, the goats scattered. Mahmoud ran to gather the animals, but was struck by a second blow as he reached them.
