Thanks Seb Ramsgate Football Club can confirm that Seb Tidey will be stepping down from his role on the committee, as previously planned. Football at this level demands a significant amount of time and commitment, and with a young family and other interests to focus on, now feels like the right moment for Seb to step back from his official duties. Seb has been a valued part of the club over the past few years, contributing across a number of areas during a period of real progress both on and off the pitch. Reflecting on his time at the club, Seb said: “From day one, my aim was simple — to help leave the club in a better place than when I arrived, and I genuinely believe that’s been achieved. From the FA Cup run to promotion into the Isthmian Premier Division, it’s been a special journey and I’m proud to have played a small part in that.” Chairman James Lawson added: “Seb has been a great help to me over the past couple of years. He’s one of those rare people who shows up when things are difficult. I’ll miss his support in an official capacity, but I’m sure I’ll still be grabbing as much of his time as I can — even if it’s just on the padel court!” Seb leaves with the thanks of everyone at the club for his efforts and commitment, and we look forward to seeing him back at Southwood as a supporter.
