Where do these sodomite nutjobs come up with this stuff? Tradition comes from man and cannot be sacred, and the magisterium is not in the Bible.
Father V@father_rmv

The authority of the Catholic Church, founded by Jesus Christ, rests upon three inseparable pillars: Sacred Scripture, Sacred (Apostolic) Tradition, and the Magisterium. Together they form a single deposit of faith entrusted by Christ to His Church, ensuring that the fullness of divine revelation remains intact and faithfully transmitted until the end of time. Sacred Scripture is the inspired Word of God, written under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the voice of the Holy Spirit speaking through the sacred authors. From Genesis to Revelation, the Bible records God’s saving deeds, culminating in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Yet Scripture does not stand alone; it was produced within the Church and is rightly understood only within her living faith. Sacred Tradition (from the Latin traditio, “handing on”) is the oral and liturgical transmission of the same apostolic teaching. St. Paul commands the faithful to “stand firm and hold to the traditions which you were taught by us, either by word of mouth or by letter” (2 Thess 2:15). This includes the ancient Creeds, the prayers and rites of the liturgy, the writings of the Church Fathers, and the lived faith of the saints across the centuries. Tradition is not opposed to Scripture; it is the context in which Scripture is received and interpreted. The Magisterium (from magister, “teacher”) is the living teaching office of the Church, exercised by the Pope and the bishops in communion with him. Guided by the Holy Spirit, the Magisterium has the divine authority to authentically interpret both Scripture and Tradition. It does not invent new revelation, but guards and explains the Sacred Deposit of Faith once delivered to the saints (Jude 1:3). When the Pope speaks ex cathedra or an ecumenical council defines doctrine, the Church is protected from error. These three pillars are not three separate sources but one unified source of divine revelation. Scripture and Tradition are the remote rule of faith; the Magisterium is the proximate rule, the living voice that interprets them. As the Catechism of the Catholic Church teaches (§82), “It is clear therefore that, in the supremely wise arrangement of God, Sacred Tradition, Sacred Scripture, and the Magisterium of the Church are so connected and associated that one of them cannot stand without the others.” This beautiful triad is what the Church means when she professes in the Creed: “I believe in one, holy, Catholic, and apostolic Church.” Upon these three pillars — Scripture, Tradition, and Magisterium — the Church stands firm, founded on the rock of Peter, against which the gates of hell shall not prevail.

His commands are not the commands of Moses. The commands of Moses have been set aside. Yes the Law is perfect, but we are not. Hence it is a ministry of death to us, and when Paul said that, he was expressively talking about the 10 commandments. Our High Priest Jesus cannot be high priest of the Law of Moses, because he is not even a Levite. We as believers are dead to the Law of Moses.

Love is obeying His commands. Love YHVH, Love others are the Big Ten in Two. The Law is prefect. We’re infected by sin, sin is lawlessness. Yeshua is the cure, our debt and curse were nailed to the tree, not the Law. “The Torah and the Prophets were proclaimed until John. Since then, the Good News of the kingdom of God is being proclaimed, and everyone tries forcing his way in. But it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for a single serif of the Torah to fail.” Luke 16:16-17 TLV

The Law’s meaning and purpose remain valid, but it is not upheld by following Moses, it is fulfilled by love. The love that God pours out into the heart of a believer. The law of Moses is not operational in the life of a believer but the Law of the Spirit of life. Different Laws because one requires your effort, the other is the Holy Spirit working on you. The Law of Moses and that incudes the 10 commandments are a ministry of death to us, because we cannot attain righteousness, that’s why we are dead to Moses and alive into God.

“Do we then nullify the Torah through faithfulness? May it never be! On the contrary, we uphold the Torah.” Romans 3:31 TLV The error of the Lawless is broad and so is the way to hell. “Bear in mind that the patience of our Lord means salvation—just as our dearly loved brother Paul also wrote to you with the wisdom given to him. He speaks about these matters in all of his letters. Some things in them are hard to understand, which the ignorant and unstable twist (as they also do with the rest of the Scriptures)—to THEIR own destruction. Since you already know all this, loved ones, be on your guard so that you are not led astray by THE ERROR OF THE LAWLESS and lose your sure footing.” 2 Peter 3:15-17 TLV

@RobinRoese @JohnHun99320672 Do you need a stone tablet in order not to murder someone? Or does the indwelling Spirit with a heart filled with God’s love work better. We are under the Law of the Spirit of life. Romans 8:2.

The thief on the cross: 1) Died under the Old Covenant 2) Died prior to the Great Commission and the command of baptism 3) Literally died with Christ and thus experienced physically what we experience through baptism 4) Should never be used as the model of the Christian life

@MessianicApolog Paul was not referring just to rituals. He expressly mentions Sinai. Only the 10 commandments were given at Sinai, no ceremonial laws.

Galatians was actually about how non-Jewish Believers in Israel’s Messiah did not have to go through ritual proselyte circumcision, to be reckoned as true members of the people of God.

@torahclub I’m just following Jesus’s example when he taught his followers the Lord’s Prayer. Forgive us per trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. The prayer is to Our Father Who Art In Heaven.

If Yeshua provides atonement and forgiveness of sins, why should we have to confess our sins and ask God for forgiveness?

@3AngelsWatchman Jesus is the Sabbath, and He is eternal. Days are not eternal; they pass and come to an end. To insinuate that days are “eternal” is to misunderstand what the Sabbath truly is. It is our rest in Jesus Christ.

@Fungame77 Because to obey under the new covenant means to believe, not follow the laws of Moses. The law is not of faith, and what is not of faith is a sin.

For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. James 2:10 In what universe does this say that we can't obey God, therefore we shouldn't even try?? The next verses talk about adultery and murder, sins we definitely should be avoiding.

Peter stood before Cornelius and said: "God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with holy spirit and power... because God was with him." (Acts 10:38) He did not say Jesus was God. He said God was with Jesus. Where did that power come from? From his Father.

Because the knowledge of God traces back to one origin, it echoes across cultures. From Noah to ancient China’s reverence for Shangdi, as known as El Shaddai to Jews, the same threads appear: creation, the flood, and Tower of Babel. That is why even the Trinity echoes across cultures too.
