It took me two full days of my life but I finished with this. I hope no one else has done this yet but Im really proud of this Araki artwork redraw in the anime style.

@Pakorabon55 Im hoping something like that is the case, since the 1st stage specified the duration of the episode while this was left ambiguous, that maybe it'll be a few episodes

@TheRealArtOSide 2nd Stage in the manga start on Chapter 12 to the 9th page of Chapter 28. It's impossible to cover it into one 47 minutes episode. Either they make 5 or 6 episode or maybe three 47 minutes episodes

Okay, Im glad we have a trailer for the 2nd Stage and all, but Im hoping they dont make the 2nd Stage another single episode. I didn't mind it with the 1st Stage. Also the fact that we dont get a specific date for this really makes me worried about the release of this adaptation.

I genuinely love the purple eyes they gave, I was so off with my Mountain Tim fan design lol

The only people I could possibly complain about are just side characters really, like I was sorta expecting the thief's voice to have a bit of a southern accent and the guys at the counter to have a voice similar to Shigechi's (or something like that).

As for the English Dub, I would like to apologize and take back everything I said, everyone did amazing and they sound so much better, might have been the horrible audio mixing of the initial trailer reveal. I especially love Pocoloco's English VA, he's so fun to listen to.

Finally got to watch the First Stage of Steel Ball Run, it was amazing and managed to exceed my expectations. I didn't mind the cuts made to the original, it helped the story flow a little better in my opinion. Definitely looking forward to the rest of this adaptations.

Also funny thing I noticed, they miscolored Urmd Avdol's shirt in his first shot that I was fully convinced he was gonna be shirtless but in every other shot shown of him, he has his shirt, I knew something about his torso looked off, more like cloth than skin.

Okay so because of the whole Steel Ball Run anime situation, even though I've read the manga, I'm still gonna hop off of social media for a bit until I've seen the episode to avoid spoilers (visually, in this case, I guess)

@jojomelhoranim They're different continuities with stories that are not like the other, only similarities being some names, references, and stands so it should be fine if they want to enjoy one or the other, but thats just my take. I personally read and watched parts 1-6 before hopping into 7-9

@TheRealArtOSide Apparently, they hate the fact that Netflix points out it's possible to watch Steel Ball Run without watching the other parts.

It's crazy how different Mountain Tim's later design is from his first appearance, so it's gonna be a little jarring seeing them use the later design for the early race since it was confirmed in the reveal visual that they are indeed using the later design for Mountain Tim.
