To add some context to this, the setting was very much hidden and never intended to be used by the masses. 5 years ago skins were downloaded in real time. The setting was for poor network connections and testing purposes. Which is why it was never in the official settings panel. Only a small percentage of players even knew it existed. We started bundling the skins with the game install/updates so you no longer have to download them in real time. Which is why it was removed.

@Superpointern Maybe you wanna try the cali.gg rust server. Although it is a vanilla server they have pvp zones only at monuments so that you can farm in peace. I personally like it a lot and if you play solo this server is pretty chill because you cannot get raided by a group

Rust has given me a lot lately. Easy to just jump on and play whenever i want. Dont need to team up or anything. Looking for more rust adventures either as a solo or in a team. Trying to find good servers to jump on. Pref 2x or 3x servers for the faster progression. But no pay to win. Also looking for more youtube content to watch for ideas and good storylines.
