Do your research, SIr. Look through my life and coaching timeline—before, during, and after this situation. Aces Elite (@AcesEliteFC) has helped 80+ student-athletes earn college opportunities and has paid for countless kids to travel and compete in 7v7 events across the nation over the past five years. We consistently play the best competition week in and week out on the national travel circuit, which is all publicly documented through Aces Elite FC. Do you honestly believe I would move to a new state, apply, register, and be accepted into a state athletic association; build one of the toughest schedules in the country (which requires coordination with school administrators on dates, times, and travel); secure housing for a boarding school; partner with the top sports performance company in the state; hire staff; and then promote everything on a platform with 27,000+ followers—just to scam families and kids? That assumption says far more about your judgment and character than it does about mine. I have coached high school and college football, served as a Head Tennis Coach, and been a Middle School Head Basketball Coach for over 12 years in Illinois, Virginia, and Florida. My roles have included Head Coach, Assistant Head Coach, Offensive Coordinator/QB Coach, and WR/DB Coach. I have never been fired, and there has never been any negative or disciplinary action taken against me. We regularly take athletes on campus visits across the country through 7v7 events and my long-standing college connections. I also run a senior all-star game circuit, @TheNCLAA, which has featured 400+ athletes competing on college campuses. All of this has been thoroughly documented with photos, video crews, and online posts—long before my platform grew to 27,000+ followers. You chose to ignore all of the positive work I’ve done and instead focused on one negative or biased article—the only one you could find. Not multiple articles. Not a pattern. Just one. I was a well-known football player and finished as the 4th All-Time leading rusher in North Carolina history. If I had truly scammed 80+ families, where are the charges? Where are the police reports? Where are the multiple articles, lawsuits, or documented outcomes? For additional context, my mother is a former police officer in that same department. I personally called the police on my own team on multiple occasions to escort athletes off the property—situations I paid for out of pocket, not parents or students. If families had paid as expected, we would have played Garden City, Iowa Western, ASA New York, Ferrum, and Louisburg College. Instead, we could only afford to drive to Minnesota and Miami to compete against NJCAA programs. College is not free—housing, meals, and expenses still exist unless an athlete is on a full scholarship. My program, @AcesEliteJucoPG, was an Independent Junior College Athletic Program. I personally helped 80+ athletes apply, register full-time, and enroll, and I drove them to campus daily—because academics came first. I did not ask for payment until the athletes arrived. Parents dropped their kids off with no payments, bad checks, and multiple IOUs. Despite that, I still housed, trained, practiced, and played three games with the team. After two months with no payments coming in, I made the difficult but necessary decision to send athletes home. It is illegal to continue running a post-high school athletic program while paying student-athletes to compete against NJCAA and NCAA programs. I am a God-fearing man who has been blessed through sports and the relationships built along the way. I am not perfect, and I acknowledge that I could have planned better and been more prepared for the scale of what I took on. That said, Aces Elite STEAM Academy (@AcesEliteSTEAM) is now properly structured, prepared, and positioned for success—giving student-athletes a legitimate opportunity to build a legacy that can change their lives and their families’ futures. I’ve also attached multiple Arizona-based newspaper articles that accurately reflect who I am, the work I’ve done for kids and the community, and the challenges I’ve overcome. None of them are criminal in nature. I didn’t make the NFL, and I didn’t finish a JUCO season because I made the legal decision to send athletes home—not because of wrongdoing.
