People talk about stealing here as if it’s some kind of grave and extreme crime, so much so that the racial profiling that comes from it is enough to kill someone and walk away free. It’s just unbelievable. The belief that a black kid stole justifies murdering. Insane.

My mind is changing on this case. It was shown at trial, I just learned, that the Cyrus did not shoplift, he was falsely accused. He had every right to leave. He was pursued. He had every right to defend himself. In fact, as I understand self-defense, didn't the store owner lose HIS right to self-defense by committing the crime of (attempted) false imprisonment?

Yesterday Rick Chow was found not guilty in the killing of Cyrus Belton.
As always the media has been working over time to paint Cryus out to be a good boy that “dindu nuffin” wrong.
They’re selectively sharing photos of him to make him look like a sweet innocent child but they won’t share this photo.
Why?
Because they’re trying to spark another summer of race riots.
The reality?
Cryus Belton went into Rick Chow’s store with a back pack and an illegal handgun but didn’t bring any money.
His intentions were to steal and he was eventually chased out of the store.
He then pointed the gun in the picture at Rick Chow’s son.
Rick Chow then opened fire.
