Jazz point I haven’t seen discussed. UTA trading pick 21 (Will Riley) and two second round picks to WAS for Walt Clayton (18th overall), is not looking hot thus far. Nolan Traore went 19 & Kas Jakucionis went 20. Unless Walt was a driving force in the Trip trade, of course.

Walt Clayton is shooting 33% from the floor and 20% from three with the Grizzlies. On the year he’s slashing 37.8/28.0/91.6. Not at all what I expected from the 23-year-old rook.

You guys should start watching the games then. The Jazz centerless defense have the guards dropping low in the post. They are at times getting forced with unfortunate mismatches against wings and bigs.

@jazzarenice I dont buy that in fact I just think thats lazy. Unless you are an outlier athletically (Amen) , No amount of effort and skill can a 6'4 guard block a 7' big in the post. Even raw stats show that his stocks are up from last year.

I know the temptation is there for Jazz fans to start to dream about #4 and I get it... but I don't think it's happening. The Jazz have at least a couple of wins left, so while tonight helped solidify the chances at #5 pre-lotto, I think that's likely the ceiling.
