I grew up in Gwinnett County, a suburb right outside Atlanta. It was 90% White when I lived there and the schools were great. Now parts of the county are unrecognizable. Any White person over 30 has seen this playout exactly the same way in their hometown.

Robert, I just started collecting 2 weeks ago. Yeah I collected as a kid in the 80s to early 90s. I sold all those cards around 2003 out of college because I got fired from my 1st real job and was dead broke. These card guys started popping on my timeline about 6 months ago, and it has giving me the itch. So far I have bought a 41 Jimmy Foxx and a 52 Bowman Mantle. I can only swing a couple more vintage cards this year because I am in the process of buying a house, and then crap I have to buy another vehicle towards the end of the year. But Lou Gehrig is on my wish list. That is a Grail Card to me. There are so many vintage baseball cards that I want to buy. I have fallen in love with collecting again…..

What’s a card you never thought in a million years as a kid you’d own and now have? Mine has to be this. Never would I have thought this was obtainable.
